Our C-Port system attaches the end of a bypass graft to a coronary artery downstream of an occlusion or narrowing during coronary artery bypass graft (CABG) surgery. The latest generation C-Port system is currently cleared for use in the United States and bear the CE Mark of conformity for sale in the European Union.

C-Port system:

"Work on very small coronary arteries."

  • Can be used on- or off-pump
  • Creates compliant anastomoses that expand and contract with blood flow
  • Uses miniature stainless steel staples to secure the bypass graft to the coronary artery
  • Reduces time required for anastomosis and is complete in two minutes
  • Produces consistent, reproducible anastomoses, largely independent of surgical technique and skill set
  • Does not interrupt blood flow while the anastomosis is being completed
  • Works on coronary arteries greater than 1.3 millimeters in internal diameter
  • Allows mechanically governed repeatability and reduced procedural complexity
  • Works with grafts of various diameters and target vessels that have single wall thicknesses less than or equal to 0.75 millimeters
  • Minimizes scarring and potential occlusion of the anastomosis by achieving nearly complete alignment of the natural blood lining surfaces of the coronary artery and the graft
